The City of Beatrice is accepting sealed bids until 10:00 a.m. on September 1, 2026, for the purchase and removal of the following surplus property:

Item 1. 2001 Harley-Davidson FLSTF Fat Boy Motorcycle Parts

Parts from a 2001 Harley-Davidson FLSTF Fat Boy, including an 88-cubic-inch motor and numerous additional motorcycle components.

The lot includes, but is not limited to:

• 88 cubic inch motor
• Gas tank
• Fender
• Seat
• Forks
• Gauges
• Wiring
• Mirrors
• Three boxes of assorted smaller parts
• Additional motorcycle components

The lot consists of nearly all of the components of the motorcycle except the frame.

Item 2. 1978 Honda Hobbit Moped

It was operational when acquired by the City but has been stored for several years and has not been operated since. The City does not have a title for this vehicle.

• Bids must be received by 10:00 a.m. on September 1, 2026. Late bids will not be accepted.
• The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
• All items are sold as-is, where-is.
• Interested bidders may inspect the items on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.

Payment & Pickup

• Payment must be made in cash only prior to collecting the item.
• Successful bidders must collect their purchased item(s) no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026.
• Bidders are responsible for arranging transportation and removal of the purchased property.
