2026 Seasonal Laborer - Public Properties

The City of Beatrice is accepting applications for a seasonal position in the Public Properties Department for the 2026 Season. The starting wage is $15.00 per hour. Hours of work are: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. 

Job duties will consist of perform building maintenance, cleaning park buildings and restrooms, playground equipment maintenance, and maintenance and preparation of athletic fields, and other general labor duties.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age, with a valid driver's license, in order to operate power equipment and motor vehicles.
• High school diploma or GED is desirable.
• General construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform manual labor and be able to withstand all types of weather conditions.
