10/3/2026 @ 2:41 pm: Bridge Closings Update
Based on the latest river forecast from water.noaa.gov for the Big Blue River there is a possibility of West Court Street/HWY 136 being closed at an unknown time on Oct. 3, 2026. Unless there is a major change in the river forecast at this time it is extremely unlikely that South 6th Street/HWY 77 will have to be closed.
10/2/2026 @ 12:32 pm: Center Street, Belvedere to Court, and Helen Street @ Center Street Closed
Due to rising waters, Center Street, Belvedere to Court, and Helen Street @ Center Street are Closed.
Barricades have been placed to prohibit entry. For your safety, do not drive around barricades.
Due to a Flood Warning, Chautauqua Park and Riverside Park are closed. This includes all park restrooms, trails, and facilities as we prepare for flooding.
