Makerspace
The Beatrice Public Library Makerspace is an innovative learning space that provides informal, hands-on learning opportunities to people of any age to develop creativity and digital literacy skills.
Among the equipment available in the Beatrice Public Library Makerspace is a 3D printer, laser cutter, vinyl cutter, heat press, button maker, laminator, and a Cricut.
Makerspace Fees:
- Daily Fee: $7.00 per day
- Monthly Fee: $15.00 per month
- Material Fees for the Makerspace shall be the City's cost to acquire the material. This includes but is not limited to: 3D Printer Filament, Wood, Ceramic Tile, Vinyl, Mugs, Mousepads, Buttons, Laminate Pouches, and Adhesive.
Some equipment will be limited to members ages 13 and older.
To use the Makerspace, please review the reservation calendar to find an open time slot. Then, complete the Makerspace Reservation Form below.
Makerspace Hours:
Wednesday - Thursday: 10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Friday - Saturday: 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
