Payment Options

For your convenience, we offer the following methods for you to pay your utility bill:

In Person 

Pay in person (cash, check, money order, credit/debit card) at City Hall in our customer lobby or via our drive-thru during our regular office hours.

By Phone

To pay your utility bill by phone (credit/debit card), call 402-228-5211 during our normal business hours and speak to one of our Utility Billing customer representatives.

Return the top portion of bill with payment (check/money order) in envelope to:

After Hours Drop Box

If you are unable to pay your bill during our normal business hours, we offer a drop box located by our drive-thru window for your convenience.

Automatic Bank Payments

Save yourself time, money, and hassle by signing up for automatic bank payments.  This option is free and ensures your payment will be made on time each month.  Payments will be processed on the due date shown on your monthly bill.  You will no longer have to write another check and worry about forgetting to mail it in on time, or having it be lost or delayed in the mail.  Simply complete the Recurring Payment Form and return to our office to sign up.

Online

We have partnered with Xpress Bill Pay, the premier provider for online bill payment systems.  To get started, log on to Xpress Bill Pay, and create your free personal account.  Once you have created an account, you will be able to go online at any time to view and/or pay your bill(s).  You will receive an e-mail to let you know when your bill is available to view online.  The online bill will look similar to the paper statement you are familiar with. 

To make your payment, select a payment type — credit card, debit card, or electronic funds transfer — enter the information, and you’re done!  It’s that easy and only takes a few minutes each month. You can also set your account up for automatic monthly payments thru Xpress Bill PayThis can save you time, money, and hassle, as you will never have to write or mail in another payment if you sign up today.
