Snow Removal

The snow removal program is very important due to the enormous effect a winter storm has on the daily routines of each and every citizen of the City.  It is the goal of the Street Department to manage and operate a snow removal and ice control program that will allow a reasonably careful driver to safely travel the City street system throughout the winter season.  Keeping the highways and emergency snow routes open to traffic every winter storm is the Street Department's number one priority.
