Yard Waste Program

Welcome to the City of Beatrice Yard Waste Program!

Running from April through October, this program ensures your yard waste is collected separately from regular garbage. Automated trucks are used for yard waste collection, and rolling carts are provided for convenient disposal. Yard waste will only be collected from the provided carts. Yard waste will be collected on Mondays.

Enroll now for the 2026 season! The service is available for $12.00 per month, billed to your utility account. You may cancel service at the end of the season. If no cancellation is made, you'll be automatically enrolled for the following year. Customers will keep their yard waste cart for next season or until service is canceled.

Please note: Prohibited items such as plastic bags, sticks, and brush will not be collected. If any prohibited items are found in your cart, your yard waste will not be collected.

Citizens living in Beatrice who do not wish to participate in the Yard Waste Program can drop off grass and leaves at the City Compost Site.
