Construction & Demolition (C&D) Landfill

The Beatrice Area Solid Waste Agency (BASWA) has operated a Construction & Demolition (C&D) Landfill since 2013. For list of fees, see the Fee Resolution below.

Items that are prohibited from disposal at the C&D Landfill are as follows:

• Municipal solid waste and industrial solid waste, as defined by the NDEE Title 132;
• Hazardous wastes, as defined by 40 CFR 261 or the NDEE Title 128;
• Wastes containing PCB, as regulated by CFR 761.60, the Toxic Standards Control Act (TSCA) or the NDEE Title 128;
• Friable asbestos-containing materials, as defined by the NDEE Title 132;
• Special waste;
• Liquid waste, as defined by the NDEE Title 132;
• Putrescible waste, as defined by the NDEE Title 132;
• Corrugated cardboard;
• Discarded household appliances, as defined by the NDEE Title 132;
• Waste tires according to NDEE requirements;
• Drums;
• Fuel tanks; and
• Other materials banned at the Landfill
