Residential EV Charging Station Rebate
About the Program
A residential charging system allows you to fully charge your car overnight from empty so that your EV’s full range is available each day. Installing a charging station at home becomes more affordable when you can take advantage of a rebate from the Board of Public Works (BPW). Installation should always be done by professionals and with the appropriate permits.
Benefits: Up to $500 rebate for the installation of a residential EV charging station
Who’s Eligible: BPW customers installing a 32-amp (minimum) residential EV charging station
Qualifications:
- The charging station installation location must be a single or multi-family residence.
- An incentive application must be completed along with the associated proof of purchase or installation of the charging station. Application must contain the serial number tied to the charging station.
Program Guidelines:
- Incentive applies only to a home charging station.
- Program is subject to the Terms and Conditions as outlined here, on the application, and under the General Guidelines.
