Mobile Food Trucks and Mobile Food Vending Units

On March 7, 2022, the Beatrice City Council approved Ordinance Number 22-6 and Ordinance Number 22-7, relating to Mobile Food Vending and Mobile Food Trucks.  

Mobile Food Trucks and Mobile Food Vending Units in the same districts as restaurants are currently allowed, which include:  Light Commercial (LC), General Commercial (GC), Central Business District (CBD), and Highway Service District (CS).  Mobile Food Trucks and Mobile Food Vending Units are also permitted in Light Industrial (LI) and General Industrial (GI) with a Special Use Permit.  

The Mobile Food Establishment Permit Application and Mobile Food Vending Permit Application can be found below.  Please complete the appropriate application and submit all required documents to the City Clerk's Office, along with the applicable permit fee, for to be reviewed for approval.
