Applying for Utility Service

All customers wishing to receive utility service (electric, water, and sewer) must complete an Application for Utility Service and pay any applicable deposit.  An application will need to be filled out regardless of whether you are renting or purchasing a home or if you are operating a business. 

Applications can be completed in the customer service lobby during our normal business hours, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Due to the time requirement, applications will not be started after 4:30 p.m.  If you come into our office after that time to begin an application, you will be asked to come back the following business day.  You may also submit an online Request for Utility Service at the bottom of this page. Once your application has been prepared by one of our representatives, they will contact you to finalize the process.

We greatly appreciate if you allow at least one (1) business day prior to when you would like the utilities transferred into your name.  

What to bring with you:

Renters - Residential

  • A photo ID
  • A copy of your lease
  • A $150 deposit

Homeowners

  • A photo ID
  • Proof of ownership
  • ​A deposit may be required

Commercial - Renters or Owners

  • A copy of your lease or proof of ownership
  • Corporate papers of the business, if applicable
  • Deposit to be determined
