The operations of the City of Beatrice and the Board of Public Works are managed by Tobias J. Tempelmeyer, who was appointed in 2012.
Board of Public Works General Manager
The Board of Public Works consists of the: Electric Department, Street Department, Water Department, and Water Pollution Control (WPC) Department.
City Administrator
Since the Mayor and City Council do not function on a full-time basis, the City Administrator is appointed to carry out the directives of the Mayor and Council and manage the affairs of the City. This form of government combines the abilities of a professionally trained administrator on a full-time basis with the interested and dedicated services of elected officials.
The City of Beatrice consist of the: Community Development Department, City Attorney, City Clerk's Office, Fire Department, Landfill, Library, Police Department, Public Properties, Street Department, and Sanitation Department.
