The computer program is
continuing to grow. Four computers are available
whenever the Senior Center is open for use by Seniors
(55 and up) at no charge. They can be used for E-mail,
Internet searches, word processing, or just playing
games.
More than ninety Seniors
have been assisted in learning basic computer usage.
This assistance is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays
mornings starting at 9:00 AM. Arrangements can be made
for assistance in the evening if anyone is interested.
If you are interested in
learning something about computers, contact Twilla. You
will find that E-mail is a great way to keep in touch
with your family and friends--and there is no postage to
pay. Also, with a little basic knowledge, you can find
out something about almost anything on the Internet or
if you just want to write a letter to send by "Snail
Mail", the equipment is there for your use.
