The
Public Properties Department is responsible for maintenance of the
city parks, buildings and waterpark. Reservations for the city
auditorium (seating capacity of 1,500) and park shelters can be made
at the beginning of each calendar year.
The Public Properties Department is also responsible for the daily
operation of the Beatrice Area Solid Waste Disposal Facility. Recent
site improvements of a synthetic lined cell and state approved
monitoring system allows the disposal of municipal solid waste and
approved special wastes.
